Last Saturday I had the priveledge to witness my dear friend Cameron marry his lovely treasure, Hannah. I have known Cameron for a long time now and have been BLESSED by his friendship. His love for the Lord is authentic and real. I dont even think I can accurately descride how meaningful his friendship has been to heart.

To watch the Lord bring Cameron a helpmate has brought me soo much joy! I know that there love for oneanother will only draw those around them closer to our Saviour.

The Black Keys:

wow, such fun music... Im a sucker for classic rock, and although they are fairly new they remind me of some of the classics. Im sad because they are coming to Portland in October for two nights, BUT already SOLD OUT! =(



Mumford & Sons:

LOVE LOVE this album. and again, they are coming to Portland, and SOLD OUT! but i think i may have a ticket... crossing my fingers!
*warning.. this song has a very naughty word in it...but for some reason it sounds so good! hehe



Arcade Fire:

This was our "soundtrack" to a late night adventure up to the Vista house to watch the Northern lights.... good memories. Ive been listening to this album alot lately.

...lately...

im a bit stubborn when it comes to the newest trends. I find myself being anti-(fill in the blank) then after it dies down a bit Ill partake in the trend. Such as Twilight. Getting a "hip" bike. Moving to the "cool" side of town. Getting tattoos.... and now Harry Potter.





One of the reasons I do this probally is rebellion.. haha. And also so I can really make sure that I like it, and not because everyone else is doing it.

Sooo back to Harry Potter.. I have just started the first book and its AMAZING.. yes, im sure everyone already knows this. But i am quite certain Im going to really enjoy these next few months getting lost in this magical world. Looking forward to the fall and being cozy with a warm blanket, yummy coffee and this delightful book.

I am soo terribly lame at blogging. I surely love to read other people's blogs but im not very good at keeping up with mine. However, I really want to change this poor habit of mine and be better! My new friend Miriam over at www.mimsicle.blogspot.com encouraged me to not neglect mine. We are going to keep eachother accountable because she isnt that consistant either. ;)
