December is only a day away!

I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR! So many fun things to be excited for. such as:




we are planning a night of caroling through SE Portland. A small group of us went last year and it was so much fun!

We will be getting our Christmas tree on Saturday!



I saw these lovely ornaments the other day at a cute store on Belmont. Im going to go to the craftstore soon to get the materials. Absolutly lovely!


... and maybe ill get a kiss under the mistletoe this year! haha ;)

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving...
I will be enjoying the day with my family and eating too much food.
A few things that I am thankful for:
.the way the Lord has brought our family closer together. One of my favorite memories of all time was a few months ago when we all went downtown to the Saturday market... ate on the waterfront... drank coffee at stumptown....took soo many photos... and just enjoyed eachothers company without arguing! =)again.. thank you Lord!
.my home.
.the security I have in Christ.
.a job {especially one that feels like home}
.community/friends.
.living in such a beautiful city.
.my health.

...there are so many more things but ill keep it short.

Last weekend my dear friend Laura was in town from Texas... its always a joy to be around her cause she is soo sweet and cute. One of my favorites for sure. Anyhow, a group, a rather large size group of our friends gathered in Emily and Josh's apartment and had an amazing brunch. Then after the downpour had halted we all loaded up in the cars and headed to Sauvie's Island to play at the pumpkin patch. Good thing I had my rainboots because it was MUDDY!! I think that was one of my favorite parts was playing in the mud. I felt like a little girl =) Here are some photos of our 3rd Annual "Autumn Day"

I have been working on a partial sleeve and Saturday I got about 4 hours of work done. And i'd like you to meet Mr. Oliver Button. Isnt he cute?

Each of us have desires and goals for our lives. Things to accomplish or even becoming something such as a parent, homeowner, companion, friend, or leader. To be transparent, I desire to be a wife and a mother one day. That desire has only increased with time as I start to mature into the women of God that I was created to be. I trust God with that desire and know that in His perfect timing it will come about. I have tried in the past to speed up the process and take control but only to find myself disapointed. When we let go and let God move in our lives we find a beauty that is so freeing. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all things shall be added unto thee. matthew 6:33

I was at Trader Joes yesterday and saw these lovely pumpkins. There are fairytale pumpkins. Arent they lovely? I want to get a bunch of them and put them on our front steps!

Im also so excited because this Sunday a group of our friends are having a Autumn Day. Complete with a yummy brunch over at Emily's house then off to the pumpkin patch. And the best part is.... my little adorable friend Laura is flying in from Texas!!!!

Tomorrow a group of us ladies are heading to Mt. Hood to stay at a beautiful cabin. We will be hiking, eating, singing around the campfire and building strong friendships. I can't wait!

When I was a little girl I loved climbing trees. I would pretend that each tree was my home. We finally built a treehouse in our backyard where I would play for hours. I would even have sleep overs... So im just dreaming of one day being able to have a treehouse of my very own!

Jamie and I have a goal to travel to Switzerland and Austria this summer. We have no money saved... so we are praying that we would be diligent in our spending and get enough money to go on an adventure to Europe.
